About the client: Owner of the largest on-line gaming community in Ecuador. The network consists in six websites, each focused on a different gaming section: Poker.ec, Casino.ec, Ruleta.ec, Tragaperras.ec, Bancadeportiva.ec and Dados.ec.
Requirements: Our client came to us with the idea of a huge website network, who’s target was to become Ecuador’s no. 1 gaming community. Once we received further information about it and talked through further details, we decided to start on the first website, in order to see how our collaboration goes: Poker.ec. Soon after we begun work on this first project, we were asked to start with the other five, so that our client was able to release all of them in the beginning of 2008. The community needed to be based on six niche sites, which were to be marketed on radio, national print (magazines, newspapers) and web throughout Ecuador. Aside from the website development phase, a heavy SEO campaign had to be implemented, also, with an aim of reaching no.1 in Google.ec on “poker”, “casino”, “ruleta” or “tragaperras” (spanish word for “slot machines”) related keywords. Last, but not least, each of the websites were to integrate several on-line Poker/Roulette/Slot machines engines.
Solution: We have created a sharp, elegant, economical and innovative layout, using strong colors, specific to gaming portals. Although all 6 follow a certain structure, each of the sites have their own color scheme and unique elements. One of the thorny problems we’ve encountered during the development phase was related to the game engines we had to integrate in each of the websites.
